40% Organic peace silk 60% Ecovero

 

What does any of this mean? 

Peace silk is a cruelty free, vegan friendly version of silk.

Traditionally silk is made by boiling the silkworms alive, then using harmful and toxic chemicals to extra the silkworms out of their cocoons.

Peace silk is made by collecting the cocoons after the silkworms have completed their metamorphosis into butterflies. 

This makes our material vegan friendly. 

Ecovero is a more sustainable viscose made using sustainable wood. It is made with certified and controlled wood sources and produced with significantly lower fossil energy use and water than generic viscose.
